Since far too often we only publicly say nice things about people when they are dead I’ve decided to randomly pick a Facebook friend every day and say something nice about them.

Today’s person: Jill Bowers!
Jill Bowers probably knows more about my body than anyone, and that include Velina. Velina knows where everything is, but Jill has measured stuff.
While I do run into Jill while seeing plays at other theaters, and in the audience of Mime Troupe shows, I mainly see Jill when she’s putting me in some soon-to-be-sweat drenched outfit at Theatreworks. I always look forward to seeing her because she’s funny and thoughtful, and I always feel like I’m visiting a friend and playing dress-up rather than doing a costume fitting. Yes, that might sound like a weird friendship, but wait a minute no it doesn’t it sounds great.
Most of the time when my fitting is done I really do want to just hang out a talk to this very generous, intelligent woman, but I know she has a schedule full of people waiting in their underwear.
Maybe one day I’ll be scheduled last and she can hang out a bit.
