Kent Nicholson, Playwright's Horizons

"Michael stands out as one of a handful of the best writers in the country."

Amy Mueller, Playwrights Foundation

"Michael is focused and resilient; he is engaged and engaging, and a fascinating man of the theater whose sense of humor is matched only by his voracious curiosity. He is a writer of exceptional talent and range with a distinctive voice, a sure sense of craft, and a mature sense of drive and commitment."
